Cancelling old contracts is nothing but necessary. A lot of people struggle with this annoying paperwork. In order to get this thing done quickly, easily and reliably, there is a new tool provided by my partner Aboalarm.
They have templates for the contracts of multiple providers. All of them are checked by a lawyer and it is ensured for most of them that the contract is cancelled. If not, Aboalarm will take care of the legal expenses.
Cancelling contracts with Aboalarm is easy: All you need to provide is your mailing address and a customer reference (f.e. cell phone number). The text for the cancellation will be written automatically based on a provider-related template and Aboalarm takes care of delivering the document to your old provider.
This is how it works:
Choose provider: Choose the provider of the contract you want to cancel at the bottom of this website.
Type in your data: The Widget asks for your mailing address and a customer reference (f.e. cell phone number if you’re about to cancel your old cell phone plan). The orange note (“Kündigungsgarantie”) shows, that Aboalarm guarantees for the success of this cancellation. If you run into trouble because of this cancellation later, Aboalarm will pay for the legal fees.
Confirm. If you don’t want to pay for this service, you are also able to print the document yourself. Consequently, you’d need to take care of the delivery to your old provider and Aboalarm will not guarantee for the success of the cancellation.
Pay. Aboalarm takes care of everything else. You’ll receive a copy of the fax confirmation in an email. It is necessary to pay a small fee for this service.
